I'm sure these rough barks could help that itch Lavender *RUFF!* Regarding the fourth image, did find the name somewhere but lost it again - that's a vine grown into the trunk and yes has very much become part of it!

Thank you Anon! I do look at the barks of trees, even when going to the shopping mall. My daughter patiently waited for me while I was examining an odd bark right at the door of the shopping center. I love these barks. There's a French blogger who use to take a lot of bark shots, he found the weirdest barks and tree trunks and I loved all of them. Thanks!

the 4th shot down is particularly cool, you have captured the texture of the vine brilliantly, can almost make a face out of it, invites interpretation!
