Top one looks like the commonly called cruifix orchid - practically a weed!! Tehehehe Always love those pink rock orchids, have never seen a wild one tho!!! The last one, thats a new one to me - really really like it! Nicely captured and shot!
HAHA! I was having a brain freeze this morning and you have told me the name of the 'orchid weed' Lavender! THANKS!! We have those here too, but they only flowered this year out the front. I have no idea what the bottom one was but it had a very large flower!
((((sitting nicely wagging tail))))) Our orange didnt flower at all last year, but the one red one we have did for the first time ever....drought? I think the plants 'know' when things are tough, even if they are better cared for than thier wild cousins - but then, I could be totally nuts too TeHeHaHaHaTeHe... I will have to keep my eyes open re: the red one...quite nice plant - Capital Find Anon!
Must be the drought Lavender! Parents have a Native Garden and NONE of their orchids flowered this year - first time EVER! I remember my next door neighbour had tons of that 'Capital Find' when a kid HAHA. It could possibly be a non-native because found on the edge of bushland. Rubbery leaves, a bit rainforest-like though :)

A few bursts of colour. There are 107 orchid genera containing more than 800 species growing in Australia. Most are unique to this country.
