Usually a small shrub of less than a metre in height with a straggling habit of growth. Ever since can remember, I have drunk the dew from these flowers if spotted in the morning.

Nice! And I did suck the juices from some of our flowers too Anon, when I was young. I remembered one of my sisters told me that I am taking away the food of the butterflies and bees. I did not listen. I think kids will experiment. Now I would not dare suck any flower, not even smell the roses, the last time I did it, a little worm started wiggling it's way out of the bloom. Are there different colors of these flowers, like yellow? I love the stems and they way the leaves are arranged.

LOVE that colour Anon, what a beauty! :)

There are probably yellow ones and have a vague memory of seeing white in the Epacridaceae Family, Ces. However the reclinata are always darker shades of pink :) OH you have a fear of smelling and tasting plants like I do with porridge Ces! HAHHAAA all because of creepy crawlies :)

One of my favourite flowers, Red Mojo :)

They are easy to spot in the bush Lavender, especially when thirsty ;)

G'day from Melbourne,

That's pink heath in those shots - we Victorians have it on our rego stickers.

I think it's the national flower of Victoria.

Nice to see Simon here, too!

Good on ya ...

G'day David McMahon from Melbourne! Thanks so much for that information! The Victorians have Epacris impressa from the same family and it is their National Emblem! You wouldn’t happen to know what the post below is? HAHA
