Skywatching Trees

The four days my Pet Parrot was lost, I spent a lot of my time looking skywards! The Weatherman threatened it would rain each day, however the storms held back until the night Jack was safely home again - out of the Australian Gumtrees...

The sky photos you posted are really nice. I like them and the first one with the bird is my favorite.

Here you are ... you great ANONYMOUS photographer ... I think that someone who posts such amazing photos should not be anonymous anymore!

Awesome photos, as usual, but yep, I agree, that photo of the bird in the first one, is the best!

The bird looks like it's sitting on a cloud, Michele Rocky Mountaingirl! Thanks!

YES! Most importantly Welcome Back Jack! Thanks for your comment Texas Travelers :)

These trees are full of sky and feel at ease when they fly. Or something like that.

I love the patterns that emerge in these branches.

The trees do make the sky feel easy and breezy Captain Modroom9. Or something like that ;)

Nothing like looking up through gum trees SandyCarlson :) They smell good too!

Lovely photos of the sky through the trees. They have a nice summertime feel to them.

I'm glad Jack is back home. :)

Thanks John!

We are all VERY happy Luiz.Rainforest :)

Thanks so much Digital Polaroids, though I'm sure you have plenty to hang on your walls with a name like that :)

The sky is a massive area Babooshka ;)

It's Autumn here, but the blue sky and gum leaves make it look warmer, Sherry. It probably is a lot warmer than your Autumn ;) YAY Jack is home!

Nice Sky Watch photos! I do like the first one the best, but all are nice. I took a minute to read of Jack's "holiday" and am thankful that he's back home with Mum.

Heehee, your choice of photo doesn't surprise me Chrome3d ;)

Phew, we're all very glad Dina :) Most of my photos were of trees because it's difficult to see colours of birds when have 'sky blindness' from looking upwards so much. The camera served as my eyes!

Thanks Ida! You like being surrounded by leaves :)

That's very nice of you Ackworth Born :)

You and Mountain Girl have inspired me to take pictures during my evening walks. I posted a bird on my sight for this weeks photo challenge. Might you have an idea what it is...I think it is some sort of hawk. The pic was taken in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hello Indigo-daisy, that's great to be inspired! I'll go take a look at your bird, maybe you can shuffle through a few of mine at Bird Anonymous to find something similar, but I am in Australia ;)
