We often don't realise the amount of influence the weather has Ces! What we eat, what we do, where we are, and our safety all depend on weather patterns...
Awww . . sorry it was a soggy saga but the shots are lovely. Wet holidays are a good opportunity for a little family bonding too . . out with the board games and fish n chips! You're right about camping. I had a similar experience in Tasmania not so long ago . .very wet tents and very aggressive ducks! Looks like it would be a wonderful spot in the sunshine!
We'll be going back when the drought is behaving how it should, Baino :) You're right, it was a rare delight for the family to be forced to stay together, although the boat shed was also a life saver being a 'teen pad' fully furnished with entertainment included. Hhehhee.
the scene growing lighter and the water getting muddier...at least it sounds like you had a holiday you won't forget...i love these pics anony, thanks for sharing xo

Although, the scene is growing lighter ...
Yes, lighter and quite comforting in its serenity.
Such a serene place. Love the concept. Love the shots.
It was forcing us to rethink what a holiday should be Ces ... like to do nothing! Heehee
Thankyou, David McMahon. It was serene, only one boat passed on the first day!
Sometimes the weather makes us change our priorities and quite surprisingly it has wonderful outcomes.
