Before radar, observation posts like the bottom images were where enemy ships could be spotted!

The one in the middle is very Deco - and very cool.

The one in the middle is part of the Barracks Joy Eliz :) It was busiest during the Vietnam War. About 300 soldiers ate in the mess hall - lots of cutlery!

My arms are tired from 'messing', I think the forks would make good ammunition but not washing them up for you Albrecht von Krappa!

The outlook reminds me of World War II although I have not been born yet. Just from other photographs.
These were probably used for both wars here Ces but built for the first :)
