This Boatman’s Hut and Cookhouse was built c1876 and altered in 1917!

It's in better shape than the barracks.

Woah! I said to myself before i scrolled down-

I could do that up and live in it... ahahahaha!

In fact all I wanted when I little younger was the big house, big car on big acres...

Now I want a cottage in the mountains (oops hang on.. I almost do!!)

Ooops, be happy with what you've got Simon - for now :) There isn't much left you can see from 1876 and easily see what's been added. Although there's an electricity box on the front verandah, the wires miss the house and it's dark inside!

It seems very quiet and still, and I like the tour of the building especially the windows.

I would like a BIG bush block overlooking the Grose Gorge though!!!

It was very quiet and still Modroom. I like how the reflection of the sky makes it glow slightly. You can see inside later ... :)

You just want MORE Simon! Hahah

not more- different! :o)

Oh. A Boatman's Hut would also be different ... :)

Absolutely gorgeous!

And listen to joy eliz - on her own blog she wants more grunge and less neatness... !!!

Be my guest Joy Eliz, I'd love all your colourful art splashed across the surface!

It is Caroline - from the outside :) Second thoughts ... Joy can give the paintbrush back if she's thinking of grunge graffiti!

Looks like some of the houses in our city now...in fact better than some third world coutry homes.

Better than some third world homes and those of the homeless here Ces!

I would sneak in here if I was homeless. Thank goodness, I am not. Matron may be standing outside.

Ces, word is some homeless have sneaked into here ... but no one really knows ...
