They say they were cookers for Asiatic food but isn't that what the pot was for? I think this is where they burnt contaminated clothes and/or bodies but there is no record for the public about that ... They ARE built to the right length!

OKAY! I’ll paste this answer under the correct post also …
The OPEN KITCHEN was built adjacent Asiatic dormitories c1900. Extremely basic brick building open at either end with a chimney in the center. Rice boilers were included in 1925. It was a rare example of a kitchen specifically designed for Asiatics. However … the building was converted to use as incinerators around 1950 – infilling all but one fireplace! That explains the ‘Warren’ incinerators!!
