WOW! interesting, I love old graveyards. And monuments! Is that a city in the way background?
Mary Stebbins Taitt, the monuments are standing where the original Graveyard was kept but the remaining bodies were put to rest on lower grounds due to the runoff ending in living quarters ... :O

Don't you ever wonder Anony, who owns these graves, what was their story, why they are abandoned...I love cemetaries and used to do grave etchings as a hobby...love the pics...
