The spores are very tiny are'nt they. Are they far away?

You have to look extra closely Captain Modroom9 so your mind is far away ... watch your nose ;)

These buildings are still in good condition considering when they were erected. Why, we have some homes in disrepair that were built about 20 years ago. Just goes to show the quality of workmanship of older generations.

I agree Ces! Actually, I photographed them BEFORE they were being restored. This particular building was a special privilege to see because in an off limit area. I was trying to record its character to compare at a later date ... Your statement about the quality of workmanship is true about everything!

Ces Adorio said...

You have done well capturing the buildings before the restoration. We will see them after the restoration process then?

Anonymous said...

Thanks Ces :) I hope so - there is an open day very soon so might take a peek at how they're progressing! I mean take a whole lot of snaps HAHA :)

Another great set of photos Anony :-) It is incredible the beauty of the little things around us - you just need to know where (and how) to look :-)

Hey you remind me of my old aquaintance the "chewing gum artist"... dunno what precisely he used to do I think it was drawing pixx on bits of gum on the street or just photographing them... he found himself lying on pavements for many hours a day... gettting arrested twice and VERY nearly sectioned and mentally impounded as punishment under the mental health act or his bizarre behaviour....

how about THAT for closeups of textures hahar!!

Anonymous said...

That's right Mountaingirl, I know you like looking at things closely yourself ;)

OOOOHHHH THANKS Mary Stebbins Taitt!! Did you find any spores? Hhehheee

HARHAR I'm nothing like your "chewing gum artist" acquaintance, who I seem to remember reading about somewhere... Haven't been arrested or impounded yet Gledwood! THAT is putting me off my breakfast! *glurp*
