Could be quite blinding if trying to sleep!
You should shut your eyes when it's this shiny. I get in a sock.
I might need a sock over my head as well as shutting eyes BoiledEggInADeckchair!
I think this is a lovely idea! We had a blast cruising the Hills on Christmas eve . . I should have taken more pics and I was pleased to find out how little energy fairy lights actually use so feel less guilty enjoying the lights. My big kids loved it too so I imagine the littlies would be stoked!
HAHA, it's a tradition for us to cruise our hills on Christmas Eve Baino :) I also learnt this year the new LED lights consume much less energy. It was always a negative when viewing others lights thinking of all that energy wasted for our viewing pleasure! My kids are also too big for the 'real magic' but we'll be doing the same yearly forever :)
I'm taking a blogger break until the New Year but will catch up visiting then if don't make it before! ENJOY what's left of 2007!!!
As silly as it sounds, we have periodically trawled around looking at Christmas lights but I have never taken photos cos it was dark. This is such a good idea ... oh that's right, it comes from Anony so it goes without saying!!!!
Actually, I copied Baino photographing the lights but last year I did the New Year Fireworks ... maybe you could photograph New Year lights and leave the Christmas ones till next year Mountaingirl :)
Wonderful idea 'cept for me being on night shift :-) So next year I can do both the Chrissy lights and the NYE fireworks :-)
OH NO! Not New Years ALSO! If you do the 9pm fireworks next time, they will both still be THIS YEAR! Happy 2008 Mountaingirl :)
Cool holiday posts, very pretty! :-D Love the sparkly lights.
I'll be making this a yearly posting now, Mary Stebbins Taitt :)
