A mostly spent Gymea Lily, another tough native. The stem is 6 meters tall and Lavender has one growing in her garden expected to bloom any time soon!!!

Very pretty and interesting and "different" (from what I see here).
A most striking plant Modroom, especially its great height of bloom! Pity it's mostly expired ...
Yes, very different Mary Stebbins Taitt! I tried photographing from as many angles as possible but in the last of the day's light and plant was in the middle of very dense off track bushland.
It looks like my hair when I wake up in the morning!
HAHHAHHAAA - poor Ces :)
