Paper daisies! They occur in both annual and perennial forms so don't always last 'forever' :)
They look so soft and fluffy, but they are pretty prickly to the touch, are they not? Love the white flowers, they look so magical -- midsummer's dream.
i lurve those kinds of flowers ^_^ my mother used to collect them and hang them from the celing in the basement.
ryn: a whosawhatsit now? Haiga? lol, i like it!!
but Hellcat has run off!! AND I DO DARE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
They are just like sharp paper and watch out for papercuts Albina!
She cared a little then Shadowlor ... hanging flowers in your room };-} I used to adorn jam jars with these and planted some seeds this year but they were washed away ...
Ryn: Haiga! Poetry and image combined Japanese style :)
Scratch your eyes out! Hellcat is always lurking in the shadows ...
I love your eye for composition Anony :-)
I think it was a phase all of our parents went through - hanging the daisies from the ceiling :-)
Oh ta Mountaingirl :) Hey ... I went through that phase!
For you info, my parents cared too mmuch to hang strange flora from the ceilings. Hellcats in the house, now that is another story, we had a running band of them!
You have a talent for making these weeds look beautiful.
Hellcats would have devoured all flowers whether strange or not Lily White! Maybe your parents cared too much for those who purred ... };-}
They are NOT weeds Ces, I planted some seeds only a month ago ... :)
beautiful shots Anony!...we have the same but yellow on our headlands...we put them on fishing line, with shells to hang. Kids call them tree earrings!
I hang bunches of roses from my verandah ceiling to dry..
There you go Abbey ... many Mothers still love these flowers and hanging blooms from ceilings :) We now have basement adornment, jam jar decoration and tree earrings! HAHA
