Last of the surfing images :) These are the rock shelves where I photograph many shorebirds and waders. Like today's on my Bird Blog!

These are really nice photo's.

It would be nice to have a few close-ups on the surfers too. As an old Italian documentarian used to 'scream' at me in a thick accent, "Coverage, think about your coverage, wide, mid, and close-up, you can never go wrong with those". :)

HAHA, thanks G3TFilms! This is as close as I could get, I'm actually very far away... it's more about the scene than the individual surfers ;)

These photographs are so inspiring. Just beautiful in every way, the scenery and the way you captured it.

I wonder what those two surfers on the third photograph are talking about.

Thanks Ces :) Those two surfers are no doubt talking about the waves! They tend to talk mostly about surfing even when away from the surf ;)

Surf dudes. Were the Aussies the ones who made those surf shorts that boys wear nowadays for the beach and swimming pools famous? We saw a lot of teenage surfers and skimmer in Siesta Key, Florida.

Board shorts are our National Leisure Wear Ces! That includes places inland and nowhere where water is to be found! Hhehee :)

I thought so! Yes, you did mention board shorts last year, except it was winter time here.

Ces, we like them on sunny days during our winter too ;) They are quite good for having a swim at lunchtime but having dry pants before back to work!

Ooops! Sorry you lost your life there ShadowLor };-} I played Myst first, but that was quite a while ago now! Hhehee :)

That's a great idea. I used to wear my bathing suits in the summer all day long. I have never surfed. Even when I was young and adventurous. The seas where I grew up had big waves but no one thought of surfing then. Our seas are dangerous, the waves pull you into the deep. There is a term for that, toe current? I will panic in deep sea water and drown and that water is dark and huge and so intimidating, but a majestic view!

Breathtaking! Beautiful, beautiful colors of all the surf and surfers series... love the way you have captured it over time -- changes of sky and water.

Maybe the word is "tow current", because sounds like it's more than your toes that are dragged in Ces! Hhehe!! I grew up spending each Christmas Holidays in the surf and can't count how many times have nearly drowned from a current’s tow!

Hello Albina! Thankyou for appreciating the subtle changes in the surfer series :)

It is most of the time Chrome3D :) They shuffle from beaches to points here! Plenty to choose from ;)
