Drainage and where a chimney used to stand...
I like the colours of the stone, shame the plumbers did'nt finish the job though. Did they go for a cup of tea?
That's sandstone CaptainModroom9! More likely coffee; there was whipping involved :O
OH WOW!
That is exactly what I exclaimed when I saw the first photograph.
What a striking cottage, although I would not call it a cottage. It looks bigger than my house. You photographed it so well, calling attention to it with such intensity that made me say:
OH WOW!
Oh WOW Ces, thanks for your comment :) The cottage was built to accommodate Government Coxswain who is the officer responsible for government boats and crew. Twenty boats linked all settlements around Sydney and Newcastle from here!
thats brilliant,
I like the colors used on the house...
Raj Shrestha, it's what Sydney Harbour National Park called a "vaneer of mournful paint". It looks like coats of lime on the sandstone to me :)
Always interesting to learn more about other places. Details like these are usually one can't read about. Keep on traveling and shooting Anon.
You have to squint from the other side of the Harbour to see the next one Ces ;) I'm walking on ...!
