This is the same and continuation of the tunnel in the post below Madcap Baroness with a Teacup. I thought you would feel that thankful seeing the sky ;)
This is the oldest and probably shortest tunnel in Sydney that I remember since a child, Ces. Mum would take me around and around on her motorbike! I also know a couple of others who lost their bikes in this tunnel :O
Hooray for your Mum and her motorbike. It looks like you had a good car speed to take clear photos, unlike at Lincoln and Holland. People were zooming by. If the car gets disabled at the tunnels the driver is fined for causing traffic jams.
Heehee, the photos are still fuzzy but mostly from the wet. We were in an old Falcon, without power steering so the speed probably wasn't as fast as most because took corners widely ;) Little traffic that day even though the Queen's Birthday!
Maybe your Government doesn't like Queenie to promote laziness Caroline! Ooops HAHA, that doesn't mean you're lazy every day! Australia finds any excuse for a public holiday...

Around and around and around we go!
I like the pattern of raindrops on your windscreen.
HAHA, no way to avoid those in Sydney at the moment Caroline :)
Where we'll end up nobody knows ...
This isn't a tunnel, birdbrain!!! I can see the sky....
Oh, bluther.
I know where you'll end up.
Lol at Perriette's comment. This reminds me of the Lincoln and Holland tunnels in New York City. I love these cityscapes too.

The Queen's Birthday? What do you do for that - here we ignore it.
We have the day off Caroline! Hence zooming around the city on a Monday ;)
Oh I like the dots. I wonder who the little red and white people are, we have them here too, in the road they are.
Hhehheee, looks like one fell over in the third shot, Captain Modroom9!
Sometimes one of them stands on a statue's head.
Hhehhee, does a Captain make a dunce out of the statues?
Why on earth don't we get the day off?
That's so unfair... sulk...
Not that it bothers me as I'm not working anymore... so maybe every day is the queen's birthday for me!
