Sydney isn’t really sinking as it appears to be! This post has been submitted to SKY WATCH FRIDAY !

That's the view of the Opera House that makes sense to me. Looks like Sydney was sandwiched between water above and below that day!

We WERE all like soggy sandwiches that day CaptainModroom9! :)

Anonymous,
I was just looking through your posts and I noticed that you seem to be the ONLY blogger I know so far who is apparently not afraid of dark clouds, grey skies and raindrops.
I enjoyed that very much! And it looks very good against the black background!
Everybody who sees our Vienna blogs must think: Oh it never rains in Austria?!?
OR COULD IT BE that the sun NEVER shines down under? Or do you have sort of winter time at the moment which much rain?
You see I'm very curious - sorry for that! :)

Hello Maria :) It's possible to travel the world via blogs! Would you believe that I remember Vienna as grey from when a child? Except for the grass in the park which was lime green before it snowed ;) Australia has just had the wettest month in 150 years or since weather was first recorded - which explains all my "grey skies and raindrops" in recent photographs :) Thanks for looking around!

But guess what, I'm so happy. If I didn´t rejoin SWF I would never have the chance to see these great photos!

Oh no Quinttarantino is back!!! Hhehhee.

Thankyou Suzanne! I've only 'climbed' the Harbour Bridge the safe way, across the designated pedestrian strip ;) I'll post photographs of the climb over the top when it happens and if I don't need two hands HAHA :)

Good Tom! Thanks for hosting Skywatch Friday!!!

Thankyou for your kind compliment Petunia :))

Oh, really! That's great!
So this is a great surprise!
I live in the first district since 2000 and since that date, I often go to Stadtpark and s'Biergartl is my favourite place. I don't know what was before that date.
So do you speak some Wienerisch or are you totally Australien? ;)
And do you still come to Vienna from time to time?

I'm totally Australian but can understand some Viennese still, Maria. There are a few relatives there but most have moved away and all visit Australia :)

It is Teresa and welcome :)

Those are great clouds Raj Shrestha!

Pleasure Fugazi! The clouds assembled for the camera ;)

Thankyou ForThePeople and John :))

Forever Young, it can feel like that when seeing 'real' photographs and not sunny brochure pictures. Travel agencies can't show you rainy pictures :)
