A few of our watering holes. When others flock to the beach, we hide in places like this! PS, bring a bodyboard.

Simply magnificent.

Is there an echo here?

There is only an echo if you are standing on one of the ledges Ces HAHA :)

What a gorgeous place - I could live there so easily...certinally somewhere near the water there is a rockledge I could call home :)

me too..... there is a great walk to Victoria falls which has nice rock pools to swim in, or Pearces pass for a swim in the Grose river, or Canoe creek track for a great Colo river water hole... or... :o)

Tried rock fishing once..and nearly got washed away... never again (urgh!!)

I could never rudely think of you Miladysa HAAHAA.

This is a favourite spot Lavender, one I was taken to when a child and the spot goes for quite a distance! It's better after it's been raining but the water still flows during dry spells. Plenty of rock ledges to build your shanty upon ;)

The Colo River is my favourite from the ones you listed Simon! There are great swimming pools everywhere (preferably far away from civilisation) if keen to follow water instead of tracks :) Heehee, there's a trick to rock fishing but the waves are still flung by Mother Nature!

Thank you ElizT :)

That's right Abbey, we are a VERY lucky Country :)

Stop there Miladysa, I'm beginning to draw an image of you in my mind and a tiara doesn't always mean sophistication!

Mountaingirl! We have beautiful spots like this IN Sydney ... really! Many between outer suburbs :)
