Falling in, not because it's slippery but inviting!

I like the still pool.
hey there is a great creek called Breakfast Creek in the Megalong Valley... nice waterfalls with really cool deep rock pools!
Does not matter how hot it is the water is always freezing

I suppose I don't have to remind you a 'still' pool is often a stagnant and smelly pool, Simon Hheheee. I'll return to this spot soon after some rain for fresher views (maybe this weekend) Megalong Valley pools would be extra cool - freezing even better! Good spot to stop for lunch :)

yes you are right! these pools in the Megalong are beautiful after rain etc... I once went there in drought and they were black :o(

nice to sit near and eat.. then you can walk down to the Cox's River!

That's right we're never happy, and we do like to grumble about the weather... :-)

The second shot is a classic favorite, the first has a cool POV which is vertigo inducing!

Easy at thye moment Simon, step outside and look at the drains! HAHA

OH NO! This was two days ago Caroline, and the dampness hasn’t stopped here either! Although, you should be grumbling more because your water is in WINTER plus flowing through living rooms ...

Hhahaa, the second was just having a drink, but the first was trying NOT to fall in and a third already down the fall = Mary Stebbins Taitt! It was quite mossy ... :)

Are there snakes in the water?

Just eels Ces. I'm surprised I haven't seen ANY snakes this year - mustn't be a very hot Summer yet ...
