Hanna

Looks like Strawberry Swirl Icecream is related to Hanna! My guess is she is a Cymbidium Vanguard crossed with a Hanalei but have had her for longer than any of the other girls. There are lots of pots of her and I forget why her name is Hanna apart from her reminding me of a group of 'Pink Girls' like the ones seen in American College movies. You know, the girls I mean (can an American help me here). They appear squeaky clean and desirable but are quite the opposite. Here they are blabbing their mouths, not singing :)

WHAT are they talking about? Must be gossip ...

Well, an ex-american cant help you with pink girls college movies - but Wow what shots of a groovy orchid - indeed it must be gossip from such flamboyantly attired gals! :)
Hope all is well in your world Anon!

It's been so long since Spring here, I forgot how pretty the new flowers are.
Now we're looking at falling leaves and falling temperatures.

Forget I called them 'Pink Girls', I made that up. They are THE girl group at College, I think they are blabbing about how you and I aren't wearing the same cute little outfits Lavender! I think our Lavender and Birdy outfits are so much more ... 'nice, different and unusual' :) Thanks Lavender !

Spring here any time for something pretty Joy Eliz :) For the next week anyway ...

Well, perhaps the Hannas are talking about how horrible Winter was! They might even be admiring your Autumn colours KJ!

Here, this gang is called "The group of cools" (the others are the nerds) All in French: Le groupe des cools et le groupe des nerds.... We have imported a few slang words...Hhehehe... (Gene told me that)... But I would call them the Pest Group..... :)You're Pest-flowers are beautiful, though!

Hmmmm, our cool group was different. With 'different' being the operative word. ALL the others were nerds? Pest Group is a much better description MerlinPrincesse! They might not be as beautiful as pretty :) What are they saying?

I think they are saying "Does this stem make me look fat?"

Hhehehehheheeee. They really shouldn't be worrying about that, Red Mojo!

It is very spring-like here - dropped into the 80's!

Ditto KJ! I love the fall except that the winter is right behind it.
We are down to the 60's Perriette, that's winter for you.

And I hope we are nerds that think we're cool, because everyone knows Nerds rule the world.

Perriette, I'm sorry to hear the Hannas make you feel eighty years young, hehheheee.

Nerds rule the world NOW Joy Eliz! However, not in the 60's ... :)

Anon, are these orchids native to Australia? Oh they are making me hungry!

Ces, this particular one I was told from memory is the one a grower began with to create other orchids from. Native Cymbidiums are found in Asia and North Australia, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one can be found wild at the top-end of this country :) That's if I'm wrong from my guess of its cross! This is a really interesting read *HERE*
