Frog

This is my Frog! When standing over this Cymbidium like the angle in the last photograph, you will see a resting frog surrounded by greenness in each bud. Not surprising named Esmeralda, and a cross between Sleeping Beauty and Sussex Moor. Beautiful sleeping frogs!

This one is a beauty Ces, large blooms and the colour green always say FRESH to me! Like a lettuce salad which is probably what the frog is dreaming about!

I made chicken noodle soup the other night, just because. I wonder if these flowers are edible? Have you tried them Anon? Would look good with salad.

What? you've completely lost me... I don't see ANY frogs.

Ces, Jack tried eating a few that had broken off the top. He thinks ALL flowers are his, but I suspected they might make him sick. It's the first time I saw him pull a face after sticking out his tongue. You could tell even with his beak!

Enlarge the bottom photograph Joy Eliz and focus on the center flower! You are lost in the greenery ...

Ooooooh, I am even greener with envy. Send over a bunch and noone will be hurt, promise!

Oh, never mind, I am just going to come over with my twisted scissors. Hang on, little frogs!

Anonymous said...

NO NO NO NO keep your twisted scissors away from my little frogs Lily Positively Green!!! Although, they might like Twisted Sister or Scissor Sisters, you WON'T be singing will you!

My frogs don't look anything like this nor do they smell nice.

I've never tried smelling your type of frogs Perriette, but you do hide them under your bed in a jar!

Anonymous said...

Shhhhh...you weren't supposed to tell anyone about that!!

I just love orchids. I remember them making faces at me last year.

Anonymous said...

Yes, they always make a face when you visit Perriette };-}
