The 'erythraeum' creates the pointed style. Possibly my favourite this season!

LOVE IT! Dig the earthier colours, I can see how this could be in your top picks - Nicely grown too!
Now, off you go somewhere warm with a lemon and honey tea - get better soon!

You have beautiful flowers, and you have a beautiful, much deserved award, and it's springtime.

Very lovely and screaming with color. I am trying to imagine the dragon but getting too distracted by the beautiful colors and blooms.

I should smite the dragons with my sword but I am smitten by their firey gaze!

I'll be popping back at the end of each day for a few days. Help yourselves to more tea. There will still be another orchid to show in two days time :)

Oh dear, Lavender has caught THE BUG! I too love the earthy colours, they have tea and coffee coloured orchids now! Next year's shopping list :)

Thanks Hardwax! Haven't put all of Ces's Awards in the sidebar but they will be updated soon. Spring has sprung, although was like winter again today!

ROARING Ces, not screaming! You can see the whole dragon best in the last photograph. He looks a bit Chinese :)

Pleased you are too smitten for smiting Wizard Why!

Your flowers are beautiful, Anon, BUT they are NOT imitating a dragon... They look more like JACK to me... Open beak, wings.... Soon they will curse and make farting noises...Mwhahhahaha! :) BEWARE of the crazy Cymbidium Erythraeum!!!!

why do you keep trying to scare me, anon? now i have to face a roaring dragon?

i am a timid gentle soul, anon. the blogs may make me look otherwise, but thanks to your ghost story i am now in therapy for another seven years. now i have to be afraid of orchids too?
it's not fair! i'm going back to the butter.

I'm not allowed to comment here anymore. Just thought I'd mention that.

OPHELIA you ARE commenting..... Or are you just a figment of my imagination..... DARN! I see things again.... :)

Can see Jack a little MerlinPrincesse, but only in a single bud. You need to look at the plant as a whole to see the dragon!

I am not trying to scare you with a PLANT KJ! Be very careful around the Melting Butter Orchid because it might burn you!

Ophelia Grim, your therapist knows best ... and will probably tell you to roar and NOT "silently weep". You had better go back to check.

I am not Ophelia, MerlinPrincesse!

Please feel free to adapt according to your own mental illness but I highly suggest you all go BACK to your therapists! *sigh* I'm supposed to be the sick one ...

All deeply depressing; must get out into my neglected little wilderness.

YOU are not my therapist, Anonymous. YOU told me to leave you alone....don't deny it!!

Faretheewell all.....not that I'll be missed! HUMPH!!

Is there a St. George flower as well?

ooooooooh, i burned my nose!

Agree ElizT, being the only ones who don't need therapists can be depressing but there is no better medicine than getting lost in the wilderness! Heehee!!

No I'm NOT your therapist Ophelia. You are doing a very good job at commenting, especially imagining my comments back! The crowd here is wondering when you are really leaving ... which is why they haven't started missing you yet.

Most probably there is a Saint George orchid Tony LaRocca! It won't be anywhere near my Dragon!!

That was silly KJ :)
