I don't know if my view was confused by cloud but it seemed the light returned from above instead of below.

You are so lucky. The clouds obscured the sky last night and I could not see Mars near the moon at 3AM. This is a perfect astrononomical event for the end of your ghost walk. Thanks for posting my entity. :-)

Not bad, I also do astronomy, though I dont have tracking so at the moment photography is not happening..but I to enjoyed this evening...It was pretty spectacular
Last happening for seven years made it an event not to miss Gale! We were packed up to go to a beach or football oval, but luckily had this view from our backyard. It must have been even clearer from where you were :)
